Makena Carlson

Makena Carlson is a singer & actor originally from Bozeman, Montana! She is a junior at Nebraska Wesleyan University pursuing her BFA in Musical Theatre and BS in Data Analytics.

Recently, she has performed onstage in several musicals and plays at NWU including Anastasia, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder, and The Tempest. In Fall of 2026 she will be performing as Nina in NWU’s Dear World. Tickets can be found here !! Other theater’s she has worked with since moving to Nebraska include Pinewood Bowl and Lincoln Community Playhouse.

When not in rehearsals Makena can be found in the Taco Bell drive through line, on the phone with her mom, or watching Studio Ghibli movies with her friends!
